About Me

My background

I graduated college with a degree in Medical Laboratory Science (formerly Medical Technology) at Velez College but decided to switch careers when the opportunity came. If I could say so myself, I think the switch was a great decision as I was able to explore more about my interests rather than taking on a linear career path. I am fitting well with being an SEO and have helped others with their brand marketing and online visibility. Let me help you as well!

How did I get into SEO?

Growing up, I have always been curious about how these brick-and-mortar stores are thriving despite the low population in the area. What factors affect sales and how do these stores manage to stay up? Is it the foot traffic? Are the prices lower in comparison to stores in more populated areas? This is what piqued my interest in SEO. Foot traffic, prices, and searchability are just some of the many factors to discoverability. With the advances in the internet, we can control these factors and drive people towards our websites!

I am not only passionate about my work, I also love doing photography. In fact, all the pictures found in this website portfolio are taken by me and my trusty Canon EOS R50. I also love to take my time in raising my 3 dogs Maya, Narra, and Ori. I have been with them for over a year and they have changed my views and values in life.

SEO Experiences

I am knowledgeable of the fundamentals of SEO. I took on projects that deal with On-page, Off-page, and even Technical SEO. My expertise does not end in SEO, I am also familiar with WordPress, Microsoft Office Suites, and other administrative tasks.

Brief Summary of My Experiences in Different Fields of SEO

On-page SEO

I have taken part in multiple projects in optimizing on-page content. I have done Keyword Mapping where we assign keywords to specific existing pages, Keyword Prioritization where we distinguish whether the keyword is primary or related, Interlinking where I connected relating pages for crawlability and good UX, and so much more!

Off-page SEO

I took part in a link building project using Buzzstream. I was given a pool of websites that could potentially link back to our webpage. My role was to vet these website if they are good matches for a certain webpage that we want backlinks to and search for the ideal contact personnel. Rummaging through the contacts of each website was on of my jobs in this project.

Technical SEO

I have had the opportunity to work on the technical SEO of a website and was given access and free use of its Google Analytics and Google Search Console Data in my decision making. I mainly monitored user engagement using GA4 by keeping track of real-time overview and traffic acquisition. Google search console was used to observe page performance by monitoring impressions and clicks within the site. I also submitted sitemaps to google to index the websites, optimized page visuals to improve load speed, and helped in the site structure to improve navigation.
